(HUMPHREY2, RICHARD1) was born June 17, 1841 in Georgia, and
died April 27, 1925 in Wayne Co, Georgia. He married SUSAN ARNETT
June 19, 1875 in Wayne Co, Georgia, daughter of TIMOTHY ARNETT
and MARGARET WILSON. She was born 1848.
Notes for RICHARD H. STRICKLAND, CSA:
Strickland, Richard H. -- Private - September 9, 1861. Elected
Lieutenant. Pension records show he was wounded in right arm,
necessitating amputation above elbow, at Dallas, Georgia May 31,
1864. Paroled at Thomasville, Georgia May 19, 1865.
